I am the owner of a lovely Provencal villa "LA BOUSCARELLE" in the VAR and I would like you to enjoy my house during the summer period. The house is suitable for 2 up to 9 people and younger children.
The house is located at the heart of the VAR region near the village LE THORONET better known for its Romanesque Cistercian 12th century abbey.
The lovely village of Le Thoronet is located at just over a mile from the house, you will find a baker, a butcher, 2 grocery shops, a papershop and a hairdresser and you will also find 2 small restaurants and terraces to eat outdoor.
LOCATION/DETAILS OF THE HOUSE
The house is located approximately 32 miles west of Frejus and 30 miles north of St.Tropez and Ste.Maxime. Acces is easy being 5 minutes from the motorways (toll) A8/A57 and only 1 hour from Marseille and Nice airport and 45 minutes from Hyeres/Toulon airport. All three airports are served by direct flights from the UK and the rest of europe.
The house is situated in a lovely garden of 1,5 acre with oak trees, olive trees and oleanders, with a large swimmingpool and poolhouse. You will find table tennis, and for the younger children a sandpit and swings.

To the front of the house you will find a very large tiled south facing terrace protected from the harsh sun with cannis. This gives you access to the main livingroom of 48 m2 with comfortable sofas. In addition, at the back of the house you will find a north-east terrace ideal for breakfast overlooking the woods.
The kitchen is very well equipped with dishwasher, oven, microwave and all the necessary materials for gourmet cooking.
There are 4 bedrooms with double beds, of which one can be transformed into two single beds and a cot is also available.
The swimming pool is located slightly away from the house. Kidney shaped it measures 12m by 8 m and is equipped with an alarm following the French legal norms.
Next to the pool, you have a very well equipped pool house containing a separate toilet and equipped kitchen and dining area. You will also find eight pool loungers and an additional outside table with chairs to eat outside.
There is also an outside shower next to the pool.
The upkeep and cleaning of the pool will be attended to twice weekly by a professional.
There is a shower room downstairs and upstairs a full bathroom. Toilets on each of the two levels.
The house could be very suitable for 2 families, as the house is divided in two levels with separate entrances.

FIRST PAYMENT ON RESERVATION EURO 600.00 ON RECEIPT OF THIS AMOUNT YOUR RESERVATION WILL BE ACCEPTED.
PAYMENT OF THE BALANCE + DEPOSIT EURO 600.00 TWO (2) MONTHS BEFORE THE START OF THE RENTAL PERIOD.
THE CLEANING FEES AT EURO 120 PER RENTAL PERIOD, TO BE SETTLED OUT OF THE DEPOSIT AMOUNT AT THE END OF THE RENT.
We can supply Sheets and Towels, (Euros 100,00).

Swimmingpool with poolhouse
Suggestions for walks and excursions in the area.....
The Verdon gorge, the lake of Sainte Croix , as well as the lakes of Saint Cassin and Carces.
The cities of Nice, Marseille, Aix-en Provence, Cannes, Monaco, St. Tropez, St. Maxime and Toulon... are all less than an hour drive from the house.
The beaches at Saint Tropez, Frejus/Saint Raphael, Cannes, Ste.Maxime and the very pretty coast near Toulon, Hyeres, Cavalaire et Bormes les Mimosas are all very accessible.
You can go for long walks in the Massif des Maures and visit the charming little villages of the Moyen et Haut Var.
Provencal markets are in Lorgues, on Tuesday in Le Luc, on Friday and Sunday in Vidauban and Le Muy.You can also go and visit lovely vineyards and taste some great crus classes for e.g. le Chateau Sainte Rosalie, in les Arcs sur Argens, with its chapel and cloister, and the remains of Ste Rosalie.
As you can see, you will have lots of thing to do if you do not want to stay near the pool all day.
